Stay true to the dreams of thy youth

I've made it back to Cairo for a whirlwind three and a half weeks of hanging out with friends, going to the beach, and bumming around the country I love. Due to my past travels, I had enough miles saved up through United Mileage Plus to get the ticket to Cairo for free!

Now one of the problems with mileage plus, is that they send you all over the world to get to your destination. I left Los Angeles after a great night with two of my good friends at 7 in the morning, and boarded a plane to Toronto, Canada; and then London, England, and then Frankfurt, Germany; and then Cairo, Egypt. Arriving 26 hours later at 7 pm in Cairo, I was a bit exhausted, but it didn't matter because the excitement was already pumping through my veins.

I've already seen a ton of my friends, and have yet to go to bed before 3 am (or for that matter to wake up before noon). Yesterday I was in a minor car accident, where a parked car decided to open their passenger door as my friend and I were driving by. No problems though!

Life is good... a few weeks here, one more week in Santa Barbara for a wedding, and then a mad rush cross country to begin graduate school!
