  • “Planned Parenthood is the LensCrafters of big abortion,” Bachmann said in her barn-burning address to a room of social conservatives. I see what she’s saying, guys. LensCrafters, a mecca of convenient vision-related services, provides one-stop convenience for customers who need an eye exam and new glasses to fit their personality and busy lifestyle. Planned Parenthood, a mecca of women’s health, provides one-stop services for women who need a pelvic exam, STD tests, a breast cancer exam and, say, a prescription for birth control that fits their personality and busy lifestyle. The comparison only gets tricky when we get to the word “abortion,” which only comprises 3% of Planned Parenthood’s services.
