Interestingly, Mark Rich was pardoned by Bill Clinton in his last swan song as President of the United States. I find this most interesting as did many at the time. I am pretty sure I have my facts correct as to this being the fellow. I am not sure that "captialism" is the culpret here as much as it is the strong praying on the weak, the educated taking advantage of the ignorant, and power being purchased as opposed to being earned. If this is an inditement of the capitalist market system, then it is as much an inditement of the human heart. I see NO situations where "governement", "communism", "socialism", "facism" has ever done any better at minimizing this effect or controlling it. As a matter of fact, I would suggest that a freer market and constitutional government that works is by far the best solution discovered to date. Interesting piece.
