Spent a great weekend with some colleagues/friends in Lebanon, where our gracious Lebanese hosts planned 4 days of sightseeing, eating, drinking and revelry. It was a great time. Below are some of the highlights

I arrived in Beirut late last night. I haven't been here since 2004, and this city has seen a lot of action since then (relentless Israeli bombing campaign and massacre of innocent Lebanese, internal fighting, real estate boom).

I'm working for the day, but here are a few shots from my morning walk, I forgot how similar Beirut is to parts of Europe...
